VPNCB Quick Start
Start in the user dashboard, import your subscription, then confirm your apps are using the route you selected.
Interfaces vary across platforms, operating systems, and clients. This guide follows the steps in order: account → plan → subscription → import → verification. Buttons may be labeled “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or “Import”; follow the instructions in your current dashboard and client. If this is your first time, set up one device before moving on to others.
Already have an account and an active subscription? Skip to Getting Started with Streaming and Regional Access. For help with a specific error, start with the Help Center.
Create an account and save your login details
Open the account creation page in the VPNCB user dashboard and enter a username and password. No email address is required; create an account with just a username and password. Choose a username that’s easy for you to recognize without revealing your identity. Use a unique password and store it securely in a trusted password manager. Complete any confirmations shown on the page, then follow the dashboard prompts to access your account.
After signing in for the first time, check that the page shows you’re logged in, then find the account overview, plans, and client downloads. Your account may be ready before you have an active subscription; account status and plan status are separate. If you still see the login form, sign in with the username and password you saved instead of creating another account.
To continue on another device, sign in to the same account. VPNCB supports unlimited simultaneous devices, but signing in on multiple devices does not automatically copy the client configuration between them. Each device needs its own subscription retrieval and import. Save your account details and make sure you can access the dashboard before choosing a plan.
If you entered the wrong username, return to the previous page after signing in, or can’t find your saved login details, check Account and Subscription Help and use the options available in the dashboard. Never send your password or an uncropped screenshot of your account to anyone.
First Month FreeChoose a plan and check your order status
After signing in, open the plans section in the user dashboard. First, distinguish monthly subscriptions from data packages, then compare the data allowances. Monthly subscriptions reset data each month on the activation date and suit regular use. Data packages last until used and never expire, making them a flexible option based on your usage. The two options work differently, so consider your usage habits—not just the payment amount—when choosing.
VPNCB monthly subscriptions are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages are ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. Not sure how much data you need? Read Plan Pricing and Data Allowances to compare the options, then return to the dashboard to choose. When you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days; refer to the details shown in the dashboard.
After choosing a plan, check the plan name, billing method, data allowance, and amount due on the order confirmation page. Then pay using the available Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT option. VPNCB offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund; see the Terms of Service for details. Keep your order record, and don’t assume the subscription is active just because you closed the payment page.
After payment, return to the user dashboard to check the order status, then open your account overview to confirm the plan appears. If your payment provider shows the payment as complete but the dashboard still shows it as processing, check your existing order before submitting another payment. For help, sign in and use the support ticket form to share your order details and describe the issue. Don’t include credentials, passwords, or your full subscription link.
Choose this planGet your subscription from the account overview
Once you’ve confirmed that your plan is active, open the account overview in the user dashboard and find the subscription section. A subscription isn’t an installer; it gives your client access to route configurations. Installing the client and importing your subscription are separate steps. Keep the dashboard open, then go to the client downloads section for your platform.
If the dashboard offers an import button for your client, use it first. Your system may ask whether to open the associated app; check that it’s the right one before continuing. If nothing happens, install and open the client first, or copy the subscription link and import it manually. Don’t click import options for multiple clients in quick succession—you could add the same configuration to an app you don’t intend to use.
To import manually, copy the subscription link from the dashboard, then paste it into the client’s subscription or configuration section. Use the complete URL, not your account password or the address of the current browser page. Check for extra spaces or line breaks before saving and updating. Once the update succeeds, the client should show a configuration name and route list. Then you can select a route and connect.
Your subscription link contains credentials needed to access your configuration, so treat it as sensitive information. When troubleshooting, describe the error without posting the full link in public comments, group chats, or screenshots. If someone is helping you, hide the link before sharing.
To refresh your route list later, update the existing subscription; you usually don’t need to create another account. If the update fails, first check your plan and data status in the account overview, then make sure you’re using the current import option provided in the dashboard. For more help with subscription errors, see Connection and Troubleshooting Help.
Go to account overviewDownload a client and import your subscription
Get clients from the VPNCB user dashboard. You’ll also need to sign in there to get your subscription. The dashboard displays the right options and instructions for your platform; this page doesn’t provide static installer links. The steps below cover common workflows. If the labels differ, look for a feature with a similar name, such as “Configuration,” “Subscription Management,” or “Import from URL.”
Windows: Set up the desktop client
In the client downloads section of the dashboard, choose the VPNCB desktop client for Windows. Install and open it by following the on-screen instructions. Return to the subscription section and try the direct import option provided in the dashboard. If your browser asks to open the client, check the app name and allow it. Once the import is complete, switch to the client and check its configuration list—don’t stop at the browser confirmation prompt.
To import manually, open the client’s configuration or subscription management section and add a remote subscription. Paste the address you copied from the dashboard, give it a recognizable name on your device, and save it. Update the subscription, select the configuration, and open the route list. If another proxy app is running in the system tray, check which app is handling the connection to avoid conflicting settings.
macOS: Import a configuration and grant system permissions
Choose the VPNCB desktop client for macOS in the dashboard and install it using the instructions for your system. Open the app, then import from the dashboard or add the subscription URL in the client’s configuration section. Save and update the subscription, confirm the route list appears, then choose a route. Don’t paste the subscription URL into the proxy server address field in macOS network settings.
The first time you connect, the client may ask to add a network configuration or request related permissions. Make sure the app named in the prompt is the client you installed, then grant the permissions it needs. Follow the client’s instructions to enable a system proxy or another connection mode. Importing a subscription alone doesn’t start a connection, so your browser may still use its previous network route.
Android: Mobile client and connection permissions
Choose the VPNCB mobile client for Android in the dashboard and follow the installation instructions on your device. Open the app after installation, then return to the dashboard and use the subscription import option. If the dashboard can’t open the app directly, select the option to add a subscription from a link in the client’s configuration or subscription section. Paste the complete subscription URL and update it. Once the list appears, select the configuration and choose a route.
The first time you connect, Android will usually ask for permission to set up a VPN connection. Check that the request comes from the client you just opened, then continue. A connection icon may appear in the system status area, but it only indicates that a network connection is established; you’ll still need to test the app you want to use. If the connection drops when the app is in the background, check your device’s background activity and battery settings for the client. The settings vary by device.
iOS: Get and import a client from the dashboard
Select iOS in the user dashboard and follow the requirements and instructions shown on the page. Use the client associated with the option provided by the dashboard. The dashboard handles availability and access requirements; this page doesn’t provide download links. After installing and opening the app, return to the subscription section and use the import option for your client. If your system asks to open an app, check that it’s the right one before continuing.
To add a subscription manually, look for an import-from-URL option in the client’s subscription or configuration section. Paste the subscription URL, save it, and update. When you connect, follow the iOS prompts to add a VPN configuration and complete any required confirmations. Return to the client, choose a route, and connect. If the import succeeds but no routes appear, check the update result and your plan status in the dashboard instead of repeatedly removing system network configurations.
Linux and other devices
VPNCB also supports Linux. Sign in to the dashboard to find the option for your platform, then follow the current instructions. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean they share the same local settings; you’ll need to import and test the configuration separately on each new device. For questions about permissions, system network modes, or advanced setup, visit the Help Center rather than changing multiple settings during initial setup.
Get the clientChoose a route and verify it works
After the subscription updates, choose a region that suits your needs from the client’s route list, then connect. VPNCB covers 100+ countries and 170+ routes; the number of regions alone doesn’t confirm that a route works with a particular app. For your first test, choose one region and check it before switching. Changing routes repeatedly during testing makes it harder to identify whether a change came from the route, configuration, or app.
Once the client shows a connection, open the IP check page to see your browser’s current exit details. Compare them with the results from before you connected to check for the expected change. If they haven’t changed, make sure the client is connected, the imported configuration is selected, and the current mode routes traffic from the check page through your chosen route. Split-tunneling rules may send different websites through different routes.
Now open the app or website you want to use. Check that it loads, you can sign in, and its main features work. A successful browser test doesn’t guarantee that a desktop app uses the same network route; some apps have separate proxy settings or keep an existing connection. If you see a difference, leave the client connected, reopen the app, and check its network settings.
Streaming availability can also depend on your account region, content licensing, and a platform’s detection rules. Your exit region alone can’t guarantee access to specific content. AI tools may also depend on a platform’s service availability and your account status. For help choosing a route for your needs, see Servers and Routes. For more on regional restrictions, read Getting Started with Streaming and Regional Access—there’s no need to work through every advanced topic during your first connection.
If the connection still isn’t working as expected, keep your current configuration and note your platform, the client’s message, the selected region, and the affected app. Then follow the relevant steps in the Help Center. Change one setting at a time and repeat the same test after each change to make it easier to find the cause. Once you’ve confirmed that the configuration updates, the client connects, and the app works, repeat the process on your other devices.
A successful setup is confirmed by what you can access, not just by a “Connected” status in the client. Keep the working configuration, check your data and plan status in the dashboard regularly, and update your existing subscription when routes need refreshing.
